Raèl was born in Baltimore, MD, a first generation Senegalese-American child with a deep love for stories and creativity. She began training as a dancer at age 3, making the school announcements everyday by age 8 and enrolled in drama school at age 10, after being accepted into one of the top acting magnet schools in the state, Sudbrook Magnet Middle. She continued to develop her craft in an art driven high school as a theater major and singing minor at the notorious Carver Center for Arts and Tech.
Following high school graduation Raèl relocated to NYC where she was cast in over 10 award winning independent films, 3 mainstage plays, made her TV debut with the film "Maturing Youth"; All while receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting from Pace University. A true Thespian, Raèl even spent a summer in Oxford, United Kingdom, as a student of The British American Drama Academy and Yale School of Drama. There she closely studied and performed the work of Shakespeare, Aeschylus and Bernard Shaw alongside "Royal Shakespeare Company" veterans.
Rae'l graduated college during the strangest year of our lives, ole faithful 2020. So by 2021, picking up and moving 3,000 miles to LA just felt natural. 85% of post-apocalypse movies take place in LA so might as well. And Rae'l hasn't slowed down since.
When not on set or in the recording booth, you can catch Raèl out on a school night at West Side Comedy Club in the Monday 10pm Improv shows, then returning to her senses Teaching an Acting course at UCLA, Writing her poetry book straight from her diary, creating online sketches and being an active volunteer in the homeless community,
