Biography

Rae’l Ba is a powerhouse actress, live stream host and content creator. Based in Los Angeles, Rae’l is known for her comedic range, emotional depth, and magnetic on-screen presence.

 

A first-generation Senegalese-American born in Baltimore, she began her artistic journey early—enrolling in classical drama school at just 10 years old. Rae'l attended a performing arts high school and later graduated with a BFA in Acting from Pace University. She got an additional degree after training in the UK at Oxford University through the prestigious British American Drama Academy in partnership with Yale School of Drama.

 

Rae’l has held cameo roles in Oscar Best Picture nominee King Richard (Max), Power (Starz), and House of Cards (Netflix). She delivered a powerful lead performance in The Gentle Giant, a Hulu Original short film about George Floyd’s family. The film premiered at Cannes Lions Festival in Italy to critical acclaim, won a Webby Award, and reached millions globally. Rae’l also brings her charisma to commercial campaigns, leading in national spots for Burger King, Uber Eats, T-Mobile, Eckrich Sausage and more. On stage, she’s led acclaimed productions in NYC and LA, including Peter and the Starcatcher (The Schaeberle Theater), Cancelled/Cancel Me (The Road Theater), Ma Raineys Black Bottom (Inglewood Playhouse) and The Niceties (The Ruskin Theater).

In addition to her acting work, Rae’l has become a standout on social media. As a content creator, Rae’l has reached over 5 million views, resonating with young women navigating soft life with a powerful aura. As a TikTok Shop live host, Rae'l leads highly successful live streams for Emmy & Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson’s hair care line "TPH by Taraji" and the world’s top Korean mud skincare brand BR Mud.

In 2026 Rae'l will have her first feature film lead debute in the drama-thriller '"Voices", premiering in spring.
