About Me.

Raèl was born in Baltimore, MD, a first generation Senegalese-American child with a deep love for public speaking, storytelling and creativity. She began training as a dancer and violinist at the age of 5, and enrolled in drama school by age 10, after being accepted into one of the top middle school theater programs in the state, Sudbrook Magnet Middle School. She continued to develop her craft in a performing arts driven high school as a theater and opera-musical theater major from the esteemed George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology.

 

Following high school graduation Raèl relocated to NYC where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting from Pace University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with 3.9 GPA. She also studied in the United Kingdom at Oxford University as a student of Yale School of Drama under the British American Drama Academy. During her academic pursuit, Rae'l was cast in 8 award winning independent short films, made her print modeling debut and lead 3 mainstage college plays. 

 

Rae'l is currently based in Los Angeles California where she works in TV, Film, Voiceover and Commercials. She can be seen in HULU original extra "The Gentle Giant- The George Floyd Story", 2023's T-Mobile Commercial and Real Murders of Atlanta on Oxygen. As of 2024, Rae'l is currently filming 2 TV pilots, in rehearsal for a play at The Ruskin Theater Company and co-producing 2 audiobooks.

When not on set, stage or the recording booth, Raèl creates online sketch comedy, is the head of Guest Relations for the Annapolis Film Festival and Co-teaches an acting course at UCLA's Summer Discovery program. Rae'l is also a proud active volunteer within the LA homeless community, 

Rae'l is signed with Full Circle Management, The Park Agency (Theatrical), Osbrink Agency (Voiceover) and AC Talent Agency (Commercial).
